International Relations at Polytech Clermont-Ferrand are part of the Clermont Auvergne University in a network of partnerships rich in training and research collaborations to promote student and teacher mobility.
The future engineer graduated from Polytech Clermont-Ferrand must be prepared to hold positions of high responsibility in an international context.
Living abroad is an important part of training.
The goal of the school is to ensure that all students have at least one work experience abroad during their formation through :
- an internship in a company or a academic laboratory
- a semester at a partner university (ERASMUS or bilateral agreement).
International at Polytech Clermont-Ferrand is characterized :
- More than 60 international agreements
- 10 double degrees (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Sweden, Russia, Tunisia, Argentina and Chile)
- 200 student engineers abroad each year
- 100% of graduated students complete part of their studies abroad.
Financial aids for mobility
In order to promote mobility, several financial aids are available. Some grants are specific to study mobility (semester of courses in a university in agreement with Polytech) and others reserved for internships in companies abroad. Several aids are available according to criteria : Erasmus + Internships of the Polytech Consortium Erasmus + Scholarship (Clermont Auvergne University), fellowships from the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region (BRMIE), City of Clermont-Ferrand fellowship, fellowships from the educational ministry.
International is also “Polytech Abroad” !
It is a community of graduates and future Polytech engineers who participate to meetings to exchange international experiences, job offers and tips to enable everyone to develop their project abroad.
